 Stuff I don’t understand…

+ how a school district in Maine can even think about offering birth control to middle-school girls ( as young as 11 and 12) to get birth control prescriptions without parental notification.

+ how school systems nationwide can be so clueless about sexual predators in the teaching ranks.

+ how the water reservoir at Lake Lanier that feeds 3 million people in metro Atlanta can be at risk partially because the Endangered Species Acts requires them to funnel water into Floirda to protect two species of endangered mussels!!

+ why JK Rowling can’t leave Potter interpretation to the readers, but has now forever changed the way the books will be read by declaring that Dumbledore is gay.

+ how ‘Good Morning America” could reserve three days of prime space for Joel and Victoria Osteen.

+ why Mike Huckabee impresses political pundits -(update–and also here) and can’t get the time of day from Dobson, Land and the other self-anointed evangelical power brokers.

Of course, there are lots of other things– that’s just from the headlines this week!!
